In various performances, installations, and video collage, Cowboy tells the story of his family, leaving the ranch, and finding friendship in the big city, thanks to buddies like Lavender (his horse) and Banana Buddy (a banana). With the power of karaoke, Cowboy transforms into The Rhinestone Cowboy. Cowboy is a study of gender performance and childlike expression of hopes and dreams in a very adult world.
